Nine Dragons Paper to tackle debt

Nine Dragons Paper (Holdings) will cut capital expenditure over the next two years to lower its debt after reporting worse-than-expected profits.

Shares in the mainland company fell 6.5 per cent to HK$3.57 yesterday.

Slash case man, 83, killed in stair fall

AN 83-YEAR-OLD on bail for slashing his daughter-in-law in a domestic dispute on Friday, was found dead in Shau Kei Wan yesterday.

Cheung Yan apparently fell as he came down an eight-step staircase to the ground-floor car park of Yiu Fai House, Yiu Tung Estate, shortly after 8.30 am. He was dead on arrival at Eastern Hospital.
