Two HK movies win support from government fund

Two Hong Kong-made movie projects have been granted more than HK$5 million from the government's Film Development Fund.

Animated movie McDull Wudang and feature film Claustrophobia were each granted 30 per cent of their production budgets, with the combined total set at HK$5.2 million.

Reel deal on the HKCEE

HONG KONG ANIMATION FILMS ON SHOW

A special showcase of Hong Kong animation from the 1960s to recent feature films will be shown from tomorrow until August 5 at the Hong Kong Film Archive.

Featured works include the legendary Master Q series, selected works of Dicky Wong and Neco Lo, A Chinese Ghost Story (1997) by Tsui Hark and My Life as McDull (2001).
