Man, 33, dies after fall on Choi Hung Estate

A 33-year-old man was found dead in Wong Tai Sin yesterday after falling from Pik Hoi House on the Choi Hung Estate. Police found no suicide note and said they believed the death was not suspicious.

Man arrested after car collides with taxi

Police arrested a motorist on suspicion of possessing illegal drugs and driving under the influence of drugs after his Mercedes-Benz slammed into a stationary taxi in Choi Hung yesterday. The 33-year-old man was driving along Clear Water Bay Road when he lost control outside Choi Wan Estate at about 2am. No one was inside the taxi.

Three more incidents of falling glass; one arrested

Two windows and a section of the glass exterior of a commercial building fell in various parts of the city yesterday, bringing the number of such cases to about 40 in the past month.

No one was injured in the three incidents yesterday, which occurred in Yau Ma Tei, Choi Wan Estate in eastern Kowloon and North Point.

MURDER SUSPECTED IN GAMBLER'S DEATH PLUNGE

A 23-year-old plunged 17 floors to his death in Wong Tai Sin while in the company of two loan-shark collectors from Macau yesterday. Police suspect Ho Kin-wah, 23, was pushed at Ming Lai House on the Choi Wan Estate at about 11.45am. Officers said closed-circuit TV showed Ho being escorted into the building's lift and taken to the 17th floor, where he used to live.
