Transatlantic crossing

The British Fashion Council made it clear at the start of London Fashion Week that nurturing a relationship with Chinese customers remains a priority. The council's chairman, Harold Tillman, says Britain should be doing more to encourage Chinese shoppers to visit London and wants to make it easier for them to obtain a visa for the country.

Peter Pilotto: This British-based label is designed by Austrian-Italian Pilotto and Belgian-Italian Christopher De Vos, who met studying in Antwerp, Belgium.
