Boy battles evil ogre

A children's fantasy directed by Mark Waters, The Spiderwick Chronicles is not as complex or sophisticated as similar movies like Narnia, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.

However, it is an exciting movie with rarely a dull moment.
