High cost of toilet tantrum

A MAN who was accidentally shown to a women's toilet at a fast food restaurant vented his anger by ripping off cistern chains, Eastern Court heard yesterday.

Chue Man-kwai, 57, lost his temper over the mistake at the Cafe de Coral in King's Road, North Point, and when he reached the men's toilet he pulled the chains off.

Gun found in toilet

DETECTIVES raided a massage parlour in Mongkok yesterday and found a modified handgun in a secret compartment behind a toilet cistern.

A 28-year-old man, believed to be the operator of the Portland Street premises, was arrested.

Empty cisterns

ABOUT three weeks ago those residents in Sai Yee Street who live near Macpherson Playground, had no flush water for a week. The last cut-off, was on August 9 and lasted for five days.

This suspension of water for cisterns, is a regular occurrence throughout the year.

We hope the Water Supplies Department will investigate.
