Medicine seized in raids

Police seized 2,700 bottles of cough medicine and some 9,000 tablets of impotence drugs, including Viagra, and tranquillisers, worth a total of HK$530,000 in two raids in Causeway Bay yesterday morning.

Warning on 'Viagra' capsules

The Department of Health warned the public last night to seek medical advice before taking health products for sexual dysfunction after four people suffered serious side effects last month. The four had taken unlabelled red and yellow capsules that tests showed contained the active ingredient in Viagra, sildenafil, and a diabetes drug, glibenclamide.
