Feasibility study for sub-degrees

City University's council yesterday decided to form a special working group to study the feasibility of offering sub-degree programmes on a self-financing basis.

Teachers kept in touch

Academics at City University will be running Teachers Update Courses for secondary school teachers between June 25 and 28 to update their knowledge in subjects and related pedagogy issues. The City University council has endorsed a revised proposal on compulsory redundancy which offers up to 15 months' salary for affected staff.

The university is expected to canvass the views of its staff on the plan during a forum on Friday and it will take effect after receiving final approval from the council in June.
