Snake bites gardener

A 52-year-old gardener was bitten on the face by a snake when he mistook it for a piece of dead wood when weeding a public garden in Clearwater Bay. The man told police he tried to cut the piece of wood when it suddenly 'came to life' and bit him. The man was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital, where he was in stable condition.

I READ with envy that Operation Santa Claus raised money for Sowers Action for rebuilding 35 schools in China in need of repairs.
