Cold and rainy weather failed to dampen spirits at the Clementi Secondary School's annual sports day on January 29.

Twenty-four students and teachers from Clementi's sister school in Beijing, Capital Normal University No. 2 Secondary School, also took part.

The guest-of-honour was Li Kwok-kai, former principal of our school and the current principal of Clementi Secondary School.

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Clementi Secondary School held its 22nd annual meeting on December 10 (pictured above).

Many guests, including former PTA members, came to the meeting and reunited with teachers, parents and students.

More than 100 pieces of innovative artwork by students from the Eastern District are on display at City Hall.

The exhibition - Memory of the Decade/Memory of Our Brushes - ends tomorrow. It is the 10th annual event of the joint school club Art Focus.

Clementi opens its doors for fun and future students

The school was abuzz with laughter and excitement when Clementi Secondary School held its annual open day.

About 500 students from seven different primary schools attended. Principal Tang Chan Wai-ling encouraged students to be polite and well-behaved in their daily lives. She also hoped that Primary Six students would get places at their favourite secondary school.

English speaking day at Clementi Secondary School was spiced up this year with help from Friends Unlimited, a non-profit organisation.

The charity ran three stalls which encouraged students to speak English through games.

Forum focuses on challenges ahead in the 21st century

Facing the challenges of the 21st century by sharpening our competitive edge was the theme of a 75th anniversary forum sponsored by Clementi Secondary School.

Dr Cheng Yin Cheong, of the Hong Kong Institute of Education's Centre of Research and International Collaboration and head of the Asian-Pacific Centre for Education Leadership and School Quality, opened the assembly.
