Great shuffle forward

IT'S 6AM ON a humid summer morning in Shanghai. Much of the city is still asleep, but Zhongshan Park in the Changning district is already a hive of activity. The air is filled with the sound of laughter and exercise instructions. Towards the park centre, the mix gets livelier with drum beats, singing and samba music.

Forget swinging on pitch, Gough's strictly ballroom

Darren Gough was supposed to lead England at the Hong Kong Sixes next month. But Gough has pulled out as he has better things to do - ballroom dancing.

'We believed that Gough would be leading England in their title defence at the Sixes. I don't know why he pulled out,' said a perplexed Clive Howard, Hong Kong Cricket Association chairman.
