Fourth 'R' on path to literacy

The drive to improve youth literacy in the four 'Rs' has consolidated with new headquarters in Hunghom.

The fourth 'R' equals computer literacy, and the Fourth R Children's Computer Education Centre set up shop at the beginning of the month in the Internet Zone at Whampoa Garden, Kowloon.

Need to boost computer literacy

It seems Anthony Lee from Brisbane, Australia, likes to make jibes for the sake of making them.

In his letter 'No home-page on Internet' (South China Morning Post, February 1) he seems upset that since I do not have a home-page, and that I wrote in an article that 'it will be crucial to make all our youngsters computer literate', this was somehow not right.
