Flat Scandal lack the fizz to overcome musical hiccups

Japanese band Scandal gave a one-off concert at the Rotunda in the Kowloon International Trade and Exhibition Centre, last Monday. It was the band's fourth trip to Hong Kong, and the largest venue in which they have played to date in the SAR.

Orchestra strikes the right chord

It is common to hear encores at rock or pop concerts, but at classical events it is certainly something rare.

At the annual concert of the City University (CityU) Philharmonic Orchestra held at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts recently, the performing group was asked to play Johann Strauss' Blue Danube Waltz again before the end of the show.
