HK Ballet presents Ronald Hynd's choreography of Arthur Saint-Leon's sentimental comic work, in which a villager's affections are torn between his lover and a beautiful mechanical doll. More than 20 years after choreographer Ronald Hynd's version of Coppelia premiered, it still enchants audiences with its exclusive dance techniques and joyful atmosphere.

On board this latest production is choreographer Bengt Jorgen from Canadian outfit Ballet Jorgen. Expect an emphasis on fun, magic and humour as the twisted tale of Dr Coppelius' efforts to create the perfect woman by stealing another man's soul are brought to life.
