Brazilian striker to start on bench

Convoy Sun Hei will be missing striker Fabio de Souza from their starting line-up when they face Al Wihdat of Jordan in the opening leg of the AFC Cup quarter-finals at Mong Kok Stadium tonight. Coach Khoo Luam Kuen said the Brazilian forward would start on the bench due to a lack of match fitness after a leg injury. Each side are allowed three foreign players.

Xiangxue Sun Hei will attempt to put their domestic troubles behind them as they prepare for one of the most important matches in the club's history tonight.

Sun Hei, winners of four trophies last season, are in Beirut where they will take on Lebanese league champions Nejmeh Club in an AFC Cup semi-final first-leg. The second leg is back in Hong Kong on October 12.
