I'm hopping on a plane in a few days. Where can I get a metal watch strap fixed at short notice and maybe buy a new, different strap to change it every so often for different occasions? The watch might not be real. Will that cause problems?

I like the look of those shirts with the snap buttons and they seem easy to take on and off, but where can I buy one?

Do all shirts come with cheap plastic stays these days? I remember my dad used to have some beautiful metal (maybe silver) ones. At Hermes, where I get most of my ties, they showed me scarves not stays. Any idea if anyone makes these any more?

I have a couple of double-breasted blazers bought decades ago (I'm in my mid-70s). My son advises me not to wear them because he thinks double-breasted blazers are out of fashion. May I have your advice, please?

I've just started dating a man who is really lovely. There's just one problem. A few, actually. He's got some stray nose hairs that stick out, and he'd be so much more attractive without them but I can't exactly say anything, can I? My girlfriends suggested I should leave a hint, like buy him a nose hair cutter and place it by the sink in his bathroom. Where are those sold?

I rarely wear a tie and tend to dress casually, but I hate cheap quality. My favourite T-shirt brand, for example, is Sunspel, which I haven't encountered yet in Hong Kong. Any ideas?

I just discovered Boardwalk Empire and am obsessed with that old-world style. Where can I get shoes like the ones in the opening sequence?

I need some shoes for the rainy weather, but wearing rain boots in this city feels excessive and they look ridiculous with my suits. My wife has over the years found some fashionable rubber shoes by Melissa, but we have not seen any men's shoes by that brand. Does such a thing exist?

I tend to wear conservative clothes and shoes and don't want to stray too far from that, but I was recently taken with a pair of traditional shoes that had a coloured (was it yellow?) sole. Of course, I didn't dare ask the gentleman wearing them where they were purchased.

Let me preface this by telling you I'm not really a fan of the clothing, but I've used Ed Hardy's cologne for a while and am a bit stumped now that the store near my office, in Exchange Square, Central, has disappeared. Am I going to have to give up weekend time to schlep all over town for this?
