Turban trouble at night-spot

On July 15 my friends and I went to Rick's Cafe in Tsim Sha Tsui. As we were about to go in, I was stopped by the men at the door because I was 'wearing a headband'.

I told them that it was not a headband but a turban, and I wore it because I was a Sikh and it was part of my religious faith.

Adding the crowning glory

PRISON officer Jaswant Singh has come to the rescue of the Police Museum after hearing about its dire need for a turban winder to add the finishing touches to a display of historical uniforms.

One of the displays featured a Sikh officer from a bygone era whose trademark turban was draped across his head in less than conventional style.
