Don't uproot trees without reason

I'm writing in response to the article 'Outrage at tree felling to make way for park' (SCMP, August 25).

I strongly disagree with the idea of cutting down trees just to plant more trees to build a park since it's harmful to the environment.

People should make their own decisions

I believe that everybody should have the right to make their own decisions.

Many adults don't feel that teenagers know enough to make their own decisions.

But I think it's important for young people to make their own decisions.

If we make a good decision, we will feel like we've achieved something.
