Tickets contest in poor taste

I AM writing to express my disgust at the competition offering Sunday Young Post readers tickets to see the film that has been responsible for at least 10 deaths in the United States and four in France. I also find it very disturbing that the film should be described as 'a love story' in the promotional material for the competition. An explanation should be given. Cynthia Smillie Sai Kung

Uncalled for

I READ with total disgust the article headlined ''Lose the kids, not the baggage'' (South China Morning Post, June 1).

I happen to be a mother of three energetic children (ages 6, 5 and 2 - all boys) who makes several trips on the plane with them annually.

Disgust over blatantly sexist views

DISGUST is the word which most closely describes my reaction to the letter entitled ''Gweipoh Groan'' (Sunday Morning Post, August 8).

I had no idea the outdated, blatant sexist attitudes framed in the letter still existed. Furthermore, I am amazed our contributor dares air them. Western women are ''an eyesore'' and ''visual pollution'' he asserts in his nauseating tone.
