Plenty of polluters still on our roads

I do not think that the Government is doing enough to keep vehicles with high emissions from contaminating the atmosphere.

Since it announced that it was employing people to find polluting vehicles I do not see any reduction in the number of these vehicles that I see on my way to and from work.

Bank's mileage programme trickery

ON the same day that I read Hongkong Bank had made huge profits last year I received a glossy, and expensive-looking, brochure from them regarding the bonus points-air mileage scheme, of which I have been a member for some time.

The brochure promised a new and improved service for its customers with 'quite a few changes'.

Referendum

THE current democracy talks are obviously leading nowhere fast.

As the democracy talks are about legislation which may benefit the populace why not hold a referendum on the matter? Do this before the procrastination damages the economy further.
