Frontier launches attack

Lord Howe was attacked by The Frontier yesterday for saying the media should exercise self-restraint.

It said statements such as Lord Howe's were a 'cause of the confidence crisis among Hong Kong people'.

Howe report due on China

FORMER foreign secretary Lord Howe is to publish a report on human rights in China following a trip to the mainland last year. The report will be released on Tuesday at the Foreign Office, but no details of its contents have been released.
