Junior form students do better than seniors at cross-country races

The bustle of students in the playground built up as the school's 20th cross-country races were about to begin.

Revolting

I travel along Bulkeley Street in Hunghom on my way to work six days a week.

Some time ago I found that a ditch had been excavated along the side of the road outside the 7-Eleven store which extends along most of the block.

Copycat case

POLICE concerns that copycat robbers might spike cartons of soft drinks so they could steal from dazed victims were shown to be justified when a man was arrested after allegedly tampering with a box of orange juice at a 7-Eleven store. The man, 26, was arrested after being spotted by staff at the Kwun Tong Road shop.

Hawkers get stalls for free

I AM concerned about the problem of street hawkers in Sun Tin Wai Estate, Sha Tin.

They open their stalls as early as 7 am and do not close them until around 8 pm.

They do not pay any rent and they leave refuse in the area.

They normally operate their stalls outside the 7-Eleven store, or on the fourth floor of the Sun Tin Wai shopping centre.
