Wimbledon march on to victory

Wimbledon continued their march up the English Premier League ladder with a solid 1-0 victory over Arsenal. The goal was a half-volley by captain Vinnie Jones.

The win pushes Wimbledon to 42 points, level with Chelsea in sixth position. Wimbledon, however, have played three matches fewer than leaders Manchester United, on 54 points, and second-placed Liverpool, on 53.
