The key to a successful haircut is being able to talk to your hairdresser. If you cannot say 'only cut a few centimetres', you could find yourself walking out of the salon with a crew cut. And if you want the latest, hippest hairdo, you have to be able to describe it to your hairdresser.

Saddened by subdued protest

AS a visitor from the UK greatly interested in the preservation of trees, I was interested to read in Ecowatch (South China Morning Post, March 1) about the banyan trees under threat in Happy Valley.
