The fallout over the alleged existence of a video showing celebrities taking drugs at a restaurant has just escalated - with the boss of the restaurant Kenny Wee Ho suing TV actor Oscar Leung Lit-wai for making defamatory statements.

It follows earlier demands from celebrities said to be present at the scandal-hit dinner for Wee to stop making defamatory statements.

Eric Tsang arrested over 'slapping businessman at wedding'

Actor-director-producer Eric Tsang Chi-wai was arrested yesterday on allegations of slapping businessman Kenny Wee Ho in an Admiralty hotel earlier this month.

Wee, husband of Suki Chui Suk-man, a 2006 Miss Hong Kong contestant, told police earlier that Tsang slapped him in a dispute at a wedding party at the Marriott Hotel.

When we paid a visit to Shifang in Sichuan earlier this month, my assistant's camcorder and my mobile phone were stolen and I was quite angry. But when I saw some quake victims later with their artificial limbs, I couldn't stop kicking myself for getting angry. The things I lost can be easily replaced, but what the victims lost can never be replaced.
