Shocked parents called for books featuring 'pseudo-models' to be relegated to an adult corner at the annual book fair as the racy photograph albums became the fastest-selling items on the first day yesterday.

The books, which do not contain nudity but emphasise the models' breasts and loins, were rated Class I - neither indecent nor obscene.

There are at least 348 sites offering online sex stories, according to officials from the internet supervision section of the National Office of Anti-Porn and Illegal Publications.

Magistrate clears magazine of wet T-shirt child porn charge

Easy Finder magazine was acquitted yesterday of publishing child pornography when it ran pictures of a young pop singer in a wet T-shirt.

Kwun Tong Magistrate Gary Lam Kar-yan conceded that one of the four pictures of Renee Lee Wan, published last June when she was 14, did suggest the outline and shape of her left breast and nipple.

According to Internet Filter Review, it hosts four million pornographic sites (12 per cent of the total number of websites) and almost 400 million pornographic pages. Germany tops the charts for porn webpages

Hong Kong has the lowest number of pornographic webpages in Greater China, according to a survey of 100 countries.

Research firm Secure Computing counted 46 million pornographic pages in the nations studied, which excluded the United States.

Germany topped the charts with more than 10 million pages.
