March over MTR station site

About 20 Kowloon City residents yesterday marched from Fuk Lo Tsun Road to a site where a new MTR station of the Sha Tin-Central link is planned. They said the station would be too far from Kowloon City, and it would take about 30 minutes to reach it. The residents demanded that the MTR Corporation pick another site or build a path leading to the new station.

43 bailed after cafe mobbed

Forty-three men who were arrested for unlawful assembly on Sunday outside a cafe in Fuk Lo Tsun Road, Kowloon City, were released on bail of $1,000 each. Staff had called police when the men sat in the cafe and ordered only two drinks. Police believed there was a landlord-tenant dispute.

Suspected triads released

Updated at 2.30pm: Forty-three suspected triads, who were arrested on charges of illegal assembly in a Kowloon City cafe, were released on Monday, police said.
