Imports soon for chilled pork from mainland

Chilled pork from the mainland will be imported to Hong Kong starting from the first quarter of this year, the government says.

In a paper submitted by the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau to the legislature yesterday, the administration said a consensus had been reached with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in Beijing on the imports.
