Baltrans plans EU shopping spree

Baltrans Holdings, a Hong Kong-based freight forwarder, aims to double sales over the next two to three years as it seeks more acquisitions in Europe.

Following the recent acquisition of Swedish freight forwarding firm Gothenburg Shipping Logistics, Baltrans chief executive Henrik von Sydow said the company would be looking into the markets in France, Italy and Spain.

Andreas Wilson began his professional career at a young age. While still in school in 1998, he landed a part in Stockholm's Royal Dramatic Theatre production of The Rat Catcher and the following year played in Krane's Cafe at the same theatre. He has also played leading roles in West Side Story and Grease at the Tibble Theatre in Stockholm.

Banking on clean air to win the race for 2004 Olympics

Stockholm is banking on fresh air to win the race to host the 2004 Olympic Games. Having earned a place in the short-list of five competing cities, the Swedish capital argues that its clean environment will bring the best out of athletes.

Stockholm last staged the Games in 1912 and is competing against Rome, Athens, Cape Town and Buenos Aires.
