House of Causse

How did it start? The House of Causse, founded in 1892 in the little French town of Millau, was a place where nobility and couturiers could mingle, and where the creme de la creme commissioned exquisite gloves to be made from the finest materials. Also that year, the label opened a boutique at 12 Rue de Castiglione, Paris.

But whether you're using Thai bird's-eye chillies, the fiery habanero or the naga jolakia - said to be the hottest in the world - great care should be taken with them.
