More than a decade ago, when organic farming was given little attention in Hong Kong, chef Margaret Xu started championing the from-farm-to-table process at her vegetable garden and secluded kitchen in Yuen Long.

Annual pilgrimage to Star Street event pays off for wine and food lovers

The five-member team (above) representing the Hong Kong Chefs Association came back from Singapore triumphantly at first runner-up after four gruelling days of cooking, plating and garnishing creative dishes against 10 other, mostly all-male, competitors.
