Graffiti a thought-provoking art form which is widely respected

While people deplore the arrest of Ai Weiwei, many mainlanders cannot speak out publicly against it.

Hong Kong's freedom of speech is deteriorating but our citizens can still express their support for the artist. Among all the voices, the graffiti designed by Chin Tangerine, the young female artist, speaks the loudest.

PLA in warning over Ai Weiwei image stunt

The People's Liberation Army in Hong Kong has taken the unprecedented step of saying it 'reserves its legal right' to act over what it says was a breach of Hong Kong law when activists campaigning in support of Ai Weiwei projected the detained artist's image onto a wall at the PLA barracks in Admiralty.

More graffiti supporting Ai Weiwei

More graffiti was found in Tsuen Wan yesterday as supporters of detained mainland artist Ai Weiwei continue to call for his release. Paint graffiti was discovered near an exit at Tsuen Wan West MTR station, on a flyover near Tsuen Wan Town Hall, at Tso Kung Square, on a flyover near the Fou Wah Centre and at other locations. Police are treating the incidents as criminal damage.

Moveable feast for art lovers
