Compromise for anxious trainers

UPSET trainers will benefit from a Jockey Club compromise over an earlier ban on use of the Sha Tin grass track for jumpouts and barrier trials which has put the first griffin races of the season at risk. But the odds remain against the first planned griffin race on December 16 actually being run and hopes for a January 1 appearance of the newcomers are not sky high.
