Girl survives fall through canopy

An eight-year-old Hang Hau girl escaped serious injury yesterday morning when a first-floor plastic canopy on to which she had crawled to retrieve a toy broke under her weight and she fell to the ground, landing in front of her shocked aunt.

Trail of destruction

The driver of this car had a lucky escape yesterday when the driver of a dump truck lost control and left a trail of destruction on a downhill stretch of Hang Hau Road in Tseung Kwan O. The truck destroyed a 30-metre stretch of railing and flattened a tree and two traffic signs before slamming into a parked van and then toppling on to a parked car at about 9.35am.

Football photo show kicks off
