Happy Money's time keeps them smiling

HAPPY Money landed the first leg of the Sprint Championship in style at Happy Valley last Wednesday, with a winning time of one minute and 11.9 seconds, lopping 0.3 seconds off the previous 1,235-metre best held by Helene Star. But again, a Topspeed rating of 81 confirms that this was just another day at the office for the John Moore-trained sprinter.

Moore's Money leads way

CHAMPION trainer John Moore will be keeping his fingers firmly crossed when classy Happy Money tackles the fourth event at Happy Valley tonight.

The four-year-old is a potential top-class performer currently running off a rating of 100 and a stylish win tonight would see him edge on to the fringes of recognition as a contender for a place in April's International Bowl.

Happy Money returning in mint condition

HAPPY Money confirmed he is on the comeback trail when coming through a searching piece of work from the barriers in fine form at Sha Tin yesterday.

Monday mornings are increasingly about such gallops from the gates at the top of the back straight.
