Hilton describes its 365-room property in China's capital as ''a real bijoux hotel, a little gem''.

A TOURIST was found hanged in the bathroom of her room at the Hilton Hotel. A note found near the body of Chie Jakekoshi, 27, from Japan, indicated romance problems.

I AM writing to invite discussion about a possible plan to tear down the Hilton Hotel in favour of building a higher office tower. In the article on the hotel's manager, James Smith (Sunday Morning Post, February 27), the general tone was one of nostalgia, sadness, and resignation towards the fate of this building.

Hilton adds two to regional chain

HILTON International's expansion in the Asia-Pacific region continues with the opening of two new hotels, in Beijing and Jakarta. The company now has 29 hotels, with almost 15,000 rooms in 12 Asian countries.
