Guangzhou's officially approved churches enjoy a busy Easter

With a choir, a band of volunteers, an advanced sound system and television monitors, Guangzhou Dongshan Christian Church has everything going for it.

Every Sunday morning, the officially approved Christian church in Sibeitongjin Street in Dongshan becomes a busy hub of worshippers. This was particularly the case at a number of Easter Sunday services yesterday.

Elanne Kwong goes on an Easter safari with a bunch of 'wild animals'

Elanne Kwong Yeuk-lam was dressed for adventure, in explorer's khaki, at the launch of Harbour City's Easter Safari weekend yesterday. The actress stood her ground during an encounter with a gang of furry wild animals - children dressed in giraffe, hippo and bunny costumes. For helping them with their animal make-up, Kwong (left) was awarded a giant Godiva chocolate Easter egg.
