Shaheen win HKFC Sixes

Hong Kong giants Shaheen picked up another piece of silverware when they won the HKFC Sixes yesterday at Sports Road. The multiple Premier Division champions defeated last year's winners, KCC Zack Attack, in the men's Cup final 3-2.

Free football lessons for young hopefuls

Thirty football-crazy Hong Kong students have been awarded free scholarships to attend the upcoming Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) coaching programme.

MUSS coaches assessed the skills of 77 young hopefuls, selected by the Hong Kong Children and Youth Services (HKCYS), at the Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC) last week.

Weakened Club demolish KCC

LEAGUE leaders Hong Kong Football Club, missing six of their 10 regulars, stayed on course for a league and Cup double when they thrashed Kowloon Cricket Club 5-0 in the second round of the Holland Cup at Happy Valley yesterday.

Cup holders Club pinned KCC back in defence opening a 3-0 half-time lead before adding another two after the break.
