Evergreen Wong helps Sun Hei stay unbeaten

High-flying Sunray Cave Sun Hei won 2-1 against home team Wofoo Tai Po in the first leg of the Canbo Senior Shield quarter-finals yesterday.

First-half goals from veteran Wong Chun-yue and Leung Tsz-chun could prove to be crucial as they host Tai Po in the return leg next month.

Late Yau goal puts Fourway in front

A late goal by defender Yau Kam-leung gave Fourway a 1-0 win over Convoy Sun Hei in the Sheffield United FA Cup first round at Mong Kok Stadium last night. Just as the match was about to enter a 30-minute extra time, Yau fired home a powerful half-volley, giving Sun Hei goalkeeper Wei Zhao no chance.

Dos Santos secures Sun Hei victory

Defender Carlos dos Santos scored his first goal this season and the second-half header was enough to secure Convoy Sun Hei a 1-0 victory over TSW Pegasus in the Coolpoint Ventilation First Division at Yuen Long Stadium yesterday. The victory was greeted with relief by Sun Hei boss Raymond Chow Man-leung whose team languish in seventh position with 21 points, 14 adrift of leaders South China.

Sun Hei desperate for silverware

Hong Kong First Division side Convoy Sun Hei have set aside a budget of HK$8 million following a disappointing season when they failed to win any silverware.
