Where to put waste paper?

THE Hongkong Government has started to recycle paper.

It is good that messages about recycling are being brought to our attention on TV and through posters, however, the only problem is most people don't know where to take their used paper for recycling.

All change to coin phones

I REFER to the letter regarding public payphones (South China Morning Post, February 16).

Last December, upon notification from the Hongkong Government on the introduction of new coins, we immediately began to redesign our payphones in order to accept them.

The replacement of the software and hardware in individual payphones will begin in early March.

Government wary of opening door on CT9

COMMENTS from the Sea-Land Orient Terminals camp on taking the wrangle over container Terminal 9 (CT9) into the Sino-British Joint Liaison Group are unlikely to be welcomed by the Hongkong Government.

They may, however, be better appreciated by other CT9 hopefuls, despite the official silence of Sea-Land's peers on the matter.
