The Black Dollars

Who's behind it? In 2000, Q. Nakao from Osaka, in Japan, and Russell Grimley from Birmingham, Britain, met in London. After working for a fashion designer for almost four years, the pair toyed with the idea of forming a rock band, which, if it had come into being, they would have named The Black Dollars. The band idea fizzled out and in its place, in 2005, came a men's clothing line.
