Commanding victory for Ironkids champ Bozarth

HONG Kong International School's Brian Bozarth once again stamped his supremacy among junior triathletes with a commanding victory in the Canon Ironkids Championships.

Bozarth, the 1992 Asian junior champion, won the 17 and 18 years division in 39 min and 21 sec. James Hartwright of King George V School was a distant second in 40:47.

A record for HK Ironkids

ENTRIES for this year's Canon Hong Kong Ironkids Triathlon Championships on Sunday have closed with a record 600 participants, the maximum number the course at Hong Kong Sports Institute can accommodate.

Nearly 100 more budding young triathletes have joined a waiting list.

$2m for locals to live the Puma life

HONGKONG triathlon has been given a shot in the arm with an international sportswear company injecting up to $2 million into the sport over the next three years.

The sponsorship by Puma will be used mainly on the development of the sport in the territory from grass roots up to international level.
