Wong Siu-tan relicensed, fine annulled

Veteran trainer Alex Wong Siu-tan was relicensed for the new racing season yesterday, after his $150,000 fine for Winmark's Isosorbide positive was annulled by the Board Of Stewards and his requirement to 'show cause' rescinded.

The Greatest still packs a punch

Not all horses have to go down to the wire in Hong Kong's championship events to be an owner's delight. A battle-hardened veteran like The Greatest, who took out the fifth on yesterday's 10-event card, has given owner David Cho Wing-yiu an enormous amount of joy, though he is still in Class Four.

AUSSIES CONFIRM POSITIVE TEST

The Jockey Club's stewards have hastily scheduled an inquiry tomorrow after recieving independent confirmation of the positive drug test returned by Winmark in December.
