Two parties

I REFER to an article on India headlined, 'Opposition drops Hinduism for promises to the poor', an Agence France Presse report, which appeared in the South China Morning Post on February 6.

The Janata Dal and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are two separate and distinct political parties in India. The report under reference appears to confuse the two parties.
