US pop star Jennifer Lopez has apologised after singing Happy Birthday to the president of Turkmenistan during a show paid for by the China National Petroleum Corporation, saying she wouldn't have performed at all if she had known about the country's human rights abuses.

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency said that the virus, in a computer at its Tsukuba Space Center northeast of Tokyo, was found to be secretly collecting data and sending it outside the agency.

Jennifer Lopez announces first Hong Kong gig in 11 years

It has been an exciting year for local music fans, with a string of international acts coming to the city. Now Jennifer Lopez, 43, is the latest star to announce she is Hong Kong bound.

The singer is being brought to town by BMA Music and The Tonno, and will perform for one night only on November 28 at the AsiaWorld-Arena as part of her Dance Again world tour.

The songs on her new album Brave do not reflect the title: the album is full of safe, non-genre-challenging numbers that would have been popular in the 1990s.
