JIT develops Shanghai factory

Singapore electronics contract manufacturer JIT Holdings will develop a US$6.5 million facility in Pudong, Shanghai, to house the group's Chinese activities. JIT offers manufacturing and distribution services to original equipment manufacturers in electronics. On Monday, it said it had received approval in principle to list on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Singapore.

JIT in new HK service

JAPAN Intermodal Transport (JIT) will start a consolidation service from Hong Kong next month.

Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe and Osaka ports are the destinations.

Transit time to Japan will be six days to Tokyo, five to Yokohama, four to Kobe and three to Osaka.

JIT starts China service

JAPAN Intermodel Transport Co (JIT) has started a through transport service to southern China via Hong Kong.

The service, in partnership with Taiping Cargo Service of Hong Kong, covers Guangdong province.

JIT handles not only general cargo, but also parts and finished goods for Japanese manufacturers operating in the province.
