Tempura fugit

A second branch of high-end Japanese restaurant chain Inagiku has opened in Hong Kong, at the Four Seasons Hotel, in Central. The speciality there is tempura, and the restaurant features a tempura counter, from which guests can watch their meal being fried to order. Inagiku also serves sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki and kaiseki meals.

It's time once again for the annual New World wine festival, Winpac (Wines of the Pacific Rim). The festival, which takes place from April 30 to May 4, will be held at The Excelsior hotel in Causeway Bay for the first time. Professional judges will taste more than 1,000 wines categorised by varietals and the winners will be unveiled at a gala dinner on May 3.
