An American businessman being sued by the Grand Hyatt for doing a flit without paying a $1.2 million bill has also faced lawsuits in the United States.

BACK to the grass and over 1,600 metres, leading trainer John Moore's Seattle Pride can return to winning form in the final event at Sha Tin today. Seattle Pride went close on the all-weather track at his last start when going under by three-parts of a length to stayer Manley's Star who acted particularly well on the tricky surface.

Trainer John Moore elected to remove the blinkers from Seattle Pride for his first attempt at a mile and three-year-old duly saw out every metre of the trip.

Winning jockey Brian York said: 'I always thought we had Our Champion covered.
