Out-of-town Tsui enjoys hot day to fire up stable

Me Tsui Yu-sak was on Australia's Gold Coast inspecting horses yesterday, but it didn't stop his stable from firing and the team racked up a treble in his absence, with Rumba King, Happy Cha Cha and Just Fantastic all converting the wins they had threatened to deliver in earlier starts.

Gala-goers give it up for change

The Changing Young Lives Foundation threw its annual fund-raising dinner party at the Armani Bar last month.

The Festival of Trees 2009 was chaired by Jim and Sally Thompson, with all the money raised at the gala donated to the foundation's projects to help underprivileged children in Hong Kong and on the mainland.

Entertainers may act, sing or dance to earn a living, but they should not be treated differently.
