One of the mainland's past sporting heroines - once promoted as a role model for the young - has returned to Beijing under the least likely of circumstances.

Post service takes charge

CHINA'S Ministry of Post and Telecommunications has set up an enterprise to take charge of its overseas investments, which have yet to be made.

The enterprise was intended to provide a united system for administration of capital and accounting, the ministry's director general and senior engineer Luan Zhengxi said.
